The Air Jordan 1 Retro BG 'Black Toe' is one of the OG colorways that debuted alongside the sneaker's initial launch. Although Michael Jordan only wore this colorway in a few games, it gained a lot of recognition and popularity through Nike's promotional campaigns, including the iconic image that inspired the Jumpman logo. Retroed in 2013 and again in 2016, the latest release pays homage to the original 1985 design, featuring the Nike Air logo on the tongue and no Jumpman logo on the heel. The shoe features a white leather upper with contrasting black and red accents on the toe, heel, and outsole, as well as the signature perforated toe box and Nike Air branding on the tongue.
