In recognition of the influential educators in his early life, Michael Jordan established Wings, a scholarship fund committed to providing young individuals with equal opportunities for a quality education. The Air Jordan 5 'Wings' edition celebrates this initiative, featuring a leather upper adorned with doodles and drawings created by students from Little Black Pearl, a nonprofit art and design center that supports young people in Chicago’s South Side. The Jordan ‘Wings’ logo is prominently displayed on the underside of the tongue, accompanied by the inspiring phrase ‘Everyone Can Fly.’
