Nike commemorated the 35th Anniversary of the Nike Dunk with the release of the Nike Dunk Low SP White University Red in 2020. The Nike Dunk made its debut as part of the 1985 Nike College Color program, which offered footwear in the school colors of 12 popular basketball programs, enabling fans to show their support for their favorite teams from head to toe. This St. Johns colorway was among the first collegiate colorways Nike released, breaking the mold for colorways used on basketball shoes.
The Nike Dunk Low SP White University Red boasts a white leather upper with red leather overlays. The design is completed with a white midsole, red outsole, and classic Nike branding on the tongue.
